Gus and I showed at the Texas Quarter Horse Association (TQHA) Introductory Show on Saturday the 9th. We went to this show to prove that Gus is going to work out for us. He was very calm being in a different place, just was a little curious. We showed in Showmanship, where we placed 5th; in Horsemanship, we also placed 5th; and in the Western Pleasure, we placed 4th. I was very proud of Gus, he did everything I asked and was very calm all day. I didn't care that Gus turned fluffy, that my cream hat had stains on it, that my pants were too short, or that Gus's mane wasn't the best banding I had done; I just wanted to have fun and see how he would act at the show. But I am very proud him, and now we plan to work out the details so we can officially own him.
