On February 23-24th, Gus and I competed at the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo Horse Show. On the 23rd, we showed in Hunt Seat Equitation and Hunter Under Saddle. We placed 1st and 3rd in AQHA L1 Novice Hunter Under Saddle and 3rd and 4th in AQHA L1 Novice Hunt Seat Equitation. On the 24th, we showed in Halter, Showmanship, Trail, Horsemanship, and Western Pleasure. We placed 2nd and 6th in AQHA L1 Novice Trail, 4th and 5th, in AQHA Performance Geldings, 4th and 6th in 14-18 All Breed Horsemanship, and 5th and 6th in AQHA L1 Novice Western Pleasure.
I am so proud of Gus and our first major show together, we have come so far in such little time. I really enjoyed hanging out with my friends Charity and Riley, who also did a really great job showing also!
