Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

Gus and I showed at the HLSR Horse Show on March 5th and 6th with my friends Charity and Riley. On the 5th, we showed in Trail, Western Pleasure, and Horsemanship. We placed 4th in All Breed 14-18 Trail out of 36 riders, 3rd in AQHA 14-18 Trail, and 6th in AQHA L1 Novice Trail. We placed 4th in the AQHA 14-18 Western Pleasure. We placed 5th in AQHA 14-18 Horsemanship. On the day of the 6th, we showed in Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, and Hunt Seat Equitation. We placed 6th in AQHA L1 Novice Showmanship, 4th in All Breed 14-18 Showmanship, and 1st in AQHA 14-18 Showmanship! We rode our best, but we did not place in any Hunter Under Saddle or Hunt Seat Equiation classes. Congratulations to Charity who won Reserve Champion in the AQHA L1 Novice division and congrats to Riley for her many top five awards. I had so much fun riding and showing at my first HLSR Horse Show and I'm so proud of Gus and our many achievements together!
