District 11 4-H Horse Show

Gus, Kite, and I competed at our last district horse show on June 6th. I couldn't be any happier with both horses. They both tried their best and performed to their best abilities. Gus and I were High Point Western Champions. We won the showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, western riding, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat versatility. Which I rode my very first pattern in the Western Riding and Gus was so awesome, when I asked he switched leads and he was just so beautiful moving throughout the pattern. It was the most exciting part of the day! We also placed 2nd in trail and hunt seat equitation. With Kite, he and I were named High Point Stock Horse Champions! I was not expecting this at all and it was truly exciting. We won stock horse showmanship, stock horse pleasure, and stock horse horsemanship. I also showed him in the halter geldings class where he placed 5th. It was such a great day with both horses, and it was an awesome way to end my last district horse show.
